Hi, I’m Mellow! A home-educating, bargain-hunting, chaos-embracing mum of two fiercely independent girls (aged 9 and 11). Life in our house is never quiet, never dull, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I started Darling Mellow as a space to share my experiences - part storytelling, part therapy, part sheer curiosity to see who else is navigating life with a head full of ideas and a house full of noise. I love writing, I love home education, and I love a good bargain (seriously, nothing beats the thrill of a great deal).

Before diving into blogging full-time, I spent years in marketing, helping brands craft their stories. Now, I use those skills here - writing, reviewing, and sharing insights in a way that’s engaging, useful, and (hopefully) a little entertaining.
I run on coffee, curiosity, and the occasional impulse buy. I thrive in chaos but dream of organised bliss (one day…). And above all, I believe in learning through life, laughing through the madness, and finding joy in the little things.
