Netflix’s “Find Me Falling” Review: Can We Talk About That Ending?!

Find Me Falling on Netflix: The Romcom Drama You Didn’t Know You Needed (Until Now)

Grab your wine, switch the kids’ iPads to full volume, and sink into the sofa – Find Me Falling has landed on Netflix and it is peak escapist drama with a side of Mediterranean lustiness.

Set against the glittering coastlines of Cyprus, Find Me Falling is what happens when a washed-up rock star tries to unplug and instead finds himself entangled in one very messy love triangle. Or square. Or… emotional hexagon? Honestly, it’s giving Mamma Mia! meets midlife crisis.

The Premise (No Spoilers… Yet)

Jackson, a former chart-topper whose career has very much fallen off the playlist, relocates to a secluded cliffside home in search of peace, purpose, and maybe a new album. But surprise! His neighbours have other plans – particularly the woman he once loved and ghosted harder than a dodgy Tinder date.

It’s a second chance romance with secrets, sunsets and slow burns – and yes, the tension simmers like a summer barbecue left on too long.

What I Loved ❤️

✔ The Vibes:

Gorgeous coastal backdrops, golden hour lighting, and a soundtrack that deserves its own Spotify playlist. This is escapism served in a chilled coupe glass.

✔ The Lead:

Harry Connick Jr. brings exactly the kind of warm, wounded charisma we want from a broken rock star. He’s charming, self-deprecating and surprisingly believable as someone grappling with regret and relevance.

✔ Mum-Relatable Themes:

Burnout, starting over, letting go of the past – it hits. We’ve all dreamed of running away to a quiet Mediterranean villa, haven’t we? Except maybe with fewer exes showing up unannounced.

What Fell Flat 💔

✘ The Pace:

It dawdles in places. Think fewer power ballads, more long walks to nowhere. A couple of episodes could have used a sharper edit.

✘ The Ending (No Spoilers, Promise):

Let’s just say… it will get you shouting at the screen. Whether in rage, heartbreak or admiration is another matter entirely.

Should You Watch It?

If you’re in the mood for a grown-up romcom with depth, drama and a very fit lead, then yes. It’s not groundbreaking telly, but it is deeply watchable, especially if you’re folding laundry or hiding from your children.

Best paired with:

  • A glass of Malbec

  • Noise-cancelling headphones

  • A WhatsApp group chat to debrief that finale

Final Verdict

Rating: 4 out of 5 Emotional Guitar Solos 🎸

Find Me Falling won’t change your life, but it just might change your evening plans. It’s heart-tugging, subtly sexy and a reminder that sometimes, falling isn’t the end – it’s the beginning.
